Description:

Depth Surveys

A diver reels out a 40 meter tape along the marked transect location. Using a dive computer, the diver records depth readings at points 0.25 and 0.75 meters offshore and 0.25 and 0.75 meters inshore for every meter along the transect. There are a total of 160 measurements for each 40 meter transect.
